Dead Sea

Visitors from around the world visit the Dead Sea for its historical and spiritual legacy, the unique healing qualities of its water, and its climate. This Sea of Salt sits amidst the sensational mountains of the Biblical Kingdoms of Moab, Ammon and Edom to the east, and the rolling hills of Jerusalem to the west. Float like a cork in the Sea while reading a newspaper or just sit and gaze at the salt-encrusted rocks, that look like they were dusted with snow, that give the Dead Sea its surreal, otherworldly feel.  Remember that this is the lowest point on Earth, and a place believed to be the site of five biblical cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zebouin and Zoar.
