Excursions starting from Beirut Port

Nawafir can arrange tours for cruise stopovers in the Lebanese port of Beirut. No visa are required, and Nawafir can facilitate port formalities quickly and easily. We arrange standard and tailored excursions lasting anywhere from one hour to several days during cruise stopovers. Tours to Beirut city, or Baalbek, Byblos, Sidon and Tyre  may be included in full-day or half-day excursions. We arrange for brand new air-conditioned coaches, experienced and qualified drivers, multilingual professional guides, and catering.

Excursions starting from Beirut Port

Beirut and Beiteddine

Half day: 1 hour drive to Beiteddine, visit the palace for 1½ h, return to Beirut for a 1 hour sightseeing tour, then return to port for departure.

Baalbek

Full day: 1½ h drive to Baalbek, visit Baalbek for 2 hours, drive to restaurant in Zahle for 1 hour, lunch in local restaurant, 1½ h to return to Beirut.

Beirut  and Byblos

Full day: sightseeing in Beirut for 1½ h, 1 hour drive to Byblos and visit for 1 hour, lunch outside Byblos, 1 hour to return to Beirut port.

Tripoli

Full day: 1½ hours one-way drive, visit Tripoli for 2 hours, proceed to restaurant, lunch for 1½ h, and return to Beirut.

Tyre

Full day: 2 h one-way drive, visit Tyre for 2 h, drive to restaurant, lunch for 1½ h, return to Beirut.

Beirut and the National Museum

Half day: 1½ h city tour of Beirut, visit the Museum for 2 h, return to Beirut port.

Sidon

Half day: 1½ h one-way drive, visit sea castle and khans in Sidon for 1½ h, return to Beirut port.

Beiteddine  and Sidon

Full day: 1 h drive to Beiteddine, visit the Palace for 1½ h, 1 h drive to Sidon, visit Sidon for 1½ h, and lunch in local restaurant, return to Beirut port.

Beirut , Jeita Grotto, Byblos

Full day: sightseeing of Beirut city for 1½ h, ½ h drive to Jeita, visit the grotto for 1½ h, lunch in Jeita restaurant for 1½ h, 1 h drive to Byblos, visit Byblos for 1½ h, 1 h to return to Beirut port.
