Hiking, biking or simply walking in the Lebanese mountains has always been a memorable adventure! Why? Because the views and panoramas of valleys, rivers, cliffs and forests are breathtaking. There are historical sites spread throughout all four corners of the country.

One- to 11-day tours with simple accommodations in motels are available.

Suggested tour

Day 1

Arrive Beirut International Airport. Meet and greet, transfer to hotel in Besharre.

Day 2

Full day of hiking from Besharre to Mar Lishaa, Kannoubine & Blawza. Visiting time: 2 hours - Walking time: 6 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 3

Full day of hiking starting from Besharre and going through Mar Tadross, Suidet El Dor, Kornet Mar Elias, Phoenician Tomb & Hadchit Village. Visiting time: 3 hours - Walking time: 4 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 4

Full day of hiking starting from Blawza, Hawka (Saidet Hawka, Priests School), Madinet El Rass, Last Hermit, Kozhaya (Saint Antoine). Visiting time: 3 hours - Walking time: 3 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 5

Full day of hiking starting in Besharre. Visit the Gibran Khalil Gibran Museum, the two Phoenician Tombs, the Kadisha Grotto  & The Cedars. Return to Besharre through the Cross Road. Visiting time: 4 hours - Walking time: 5 1/2 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 6

Full day of hiking to Hamal Allah, Mar Simaan & El Marge. Visiting time: 2 hours - Walking time: 5 1/2 hours. Overnight at Chbat Hotel.

Day 7

Full day of hiking in the area of Kornet El Saouda. Walking time: 5 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 8

Full day of hiking to Hadchit & the Valley of Hadchit. Relax there, return to hotel. Walking time: 8 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 9

Full day of hiking from Besharre to the Cedars, transfer by car then continue on foot to Bekaakafra, Lac Bekaakafa village (Mar Hawcheb), Mar Charbel Deir Al Rahibett Bkerkacha (Deir Mar Simaan). Visiting time: 2 ? hours. Walking time: 3 hours. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 10

Full day of hiking from Besharre to Mar Lishaa, Kannoubine, Frasisse & Kozhaya. Visiting & Walking time: 10 hours. Hike level ****. Return by car. Overnight in Besharre.

Day 11

Transfer from Besharre to Beirut International Airport for departure.
